Meet Your Host : Nimo Teunis

Hi, I’m Nimo Teunis, an entrepreneur, recruitment expert, and proud mother of two wonderful boys. The Netherlands has been my home for over a decade now. Originally I’m from a place called Langas, one of the biggest slums in Kenya.

My journey with Dubai began when I decided to turn my childhood dream of helping people find jobs into reality. I founded Excellent Human Resource Consultancy, a Dubai-based recruitment agency that supports professionals in securing career opportunities in the UAE. I also run a recruitment agency in the Netherlands, expanding my mission to help more people build successful futures.

Like many others, I had so many questions about Dubai:

• 💼 How do you start a business?
• 📜 What are the legal and taxation systems like?
• 🤝 How do you get clients and build a network?

I spent five months researching everything myself, going through the ups and downs, making mistakes, and eventually connecting with the right professionals. Along the way, I met so many people interested in Dubai but struggling to find reliable and honest information. Too often, they fell into the wrong hands, receiving misleading advice that led to costly mistakes.

Then in 2024, I had the opportunity to assist in a Dutch-organized trade mission to Dubai. That experience motivated me in so many beautiful ways! Connecting with the participants, seeing participants gain insights, expand businesses, invest in real estate, or even decide that Dubai wasn’t the right fit for them was inspiring. I decided that this was my true calling—to create my own trade mission and help others make informed decisions about Dubai with the right guidance and support.
